Nice job! I like the darkness of it, even though fire is brightness. I would say that he looks a little thin, like his bones are showing a bit too much. But nice work nonetheless!

The sketching takes the longer with complicated features, details and expressions..anything from half hour to a few days.

Actual painting,once I've got a clear direction about two hours. That is, if I'm not too obsessive about details. However, without clear direction, I would have spent two hrs average exploring the concept, textures, colours and lighting for each direction I take...

The most difficult part, I would say is getting the right idea...

If I just want to unwind, I'll just get a good picture to copy..about 2 hrs from start to finish..
