I was thinking of how our dear Rurouni would have felt the first time he woke up beside someone he loved ~ didn't get it the last time with Tomoe.

It took me about 8 days just to get the expression in his eyes right...

I was aiming for a more minimalistic effect (if that is the correct term), but this took entirely too long. Still not too sure about the lighting and everything else, but I needed to finish this so that I get started on do other things.

Anyway, this is dedicated to all RK fans, to make up for some of the missing scenes in RK; to ~redsama for all her gentle pushing; and mostly, for my hubby for all the times that I have been the receiving end of that 'look'.

Edit 1/02/09:
Added the yukata so I can keep from blushing and I can remove the warning. Also dedicating this to ~kaoruxkenshin for all our email babble fests (I knew I forgot someone the last time)

although I like to think Tomoe is watching with an equally soft smile that's both wistful and mixed with relief (her job of making sure he LIVES is basically done)

Actually I get warm on my cheeks when I look at the picture too:blush: I realised my mistake,but when I tried to put yukata on I got lost in all the white, and somehow the effect got lost..
Will still try later:), then I can remove the warning :D

Thank you for your kind thought, I didn't really want to put my birthday there because I felt its like telling people to give me something for my birthday, but I didn't know what else to write..
Anyway, that's done. But I would like to see any picture you draw :D - I like all characters in Rurouni Kenshin, even the bad ones, because they're all complex. I look forward to what you can come up with :D
