- more that a year overdue.. and she requested Kenshin and Tomoe during happier moments..
Kenshin and Tomoe happy moments were barely implied - For the longest time it was just looking for ideas, since I'm basically a canon / canon compliant person and have a strong aversion to direct copy..
In the end, I had 3 references for Kenshin and 3 for Tomoe, and one for scene and lighting/ shading.. and even more issues.. they all had different lighting, shading, angles and perspectives I've spent so much time just editing even before any part is complete..
Takeru Satoh was used for Kenshin and Satomi Ishihara was used for Tomoe.. from various promo and magazine shots.. and a wedding photo from Flickr for the mountians and initial idea... No screen caps,.. this scene was never written or animated- I just put every thing together, although it is still plausible in the canon verse.
I was going for realistic but with all the mixed match references, the lighting is still rather surrealistic

the subtitles are okay but there is some places where its missed the mark.. nothing major that'll miss the mark.
I'm still waiting for them to officially release a subbed DVD.. I want to buy the special edition with interviews etc...
