I owed a friend a picture and I wanted to practice my pencil, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone..
Used my friend's picture which I used as a reference...

Still working out a lot of things, so several things are different...plus towards the end I was tired and dying to do something else...

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactVery nice pencil works, details and shadings.
What i like best from this piece, are the rocky surface, which i find were sketched out very well.
Comparing with the reference, it's certainly very creative of you to pick your own angle to draw. Most artist would have just reference-drawn the same picture from the same point of view.
This angle chosen, brings out the best of the small water falls and the rocky surface besides it. It is even better than the real photograph.
The ripples of the water must have been the toughest to do. It is a very well done art, as it makes one feels that everything in there were captured very well. I can feel myself being there at this very moment, just by looking at this piece.
